More than a website

A government site residents visit because they want to.

People come to a county website when they have to — a tax bill, a permit, a meeting. With Commons, they also find what's going on this weekend, who needs a hand, and where to get help. It makes a county feel like a community, and it gives residents a reason to come back before the next boil-water notice.

Events from the whole region

Festivals, games, library programs, markets, and church suppers from the area's event calendars, on your site every week. Your staff doesn't enter any of it.

Neighbors helping neighbors

Your town's Neighborly board: residents post needs and offers, lend tools, and organize. You link it; neighbors run it.

Help that's actually nearby

Food pantries and local services, kept current by the people who run them.

Work that stays local

Your open bids reach local businesses on Operate. More local bids, more money kept in the county.
